How can I manage pain in ribs with breathing difficulty after a fall?

I slipped, fell and landed on my side four days ago and have been in a lot of pain since then, around my ribs on the left side. The pain has not lessened, sometimes feels worse. It hurts when I breathe so I have to take shallow breaths. I know that X-rays will not do much and I realize that not much can really be done at all. So my question is what can I do to help the healing process or if there is anything I should not be doing. I have been going to work and avoiding heavy lifting. I cannot really afford to take more than a few days off. Would it slow the process of healing if I continue to go to work but avoid heavy lifting and any strenuous activity?

What causes high TSH, tiredness, weakness, and indigestion?

I am 29 years old and 60 kg, 5.6 feet tall and working man. According to the first time test report, my TSH is 89.47 and HB is 11.1. Currently, I am feeling too much tiredness, weakness, and indigestion. I feel this from last five months but I only cured indigestion. Currently, my doctor recommended Thyrox 100 and some Folic acids. Now, I am too much weak and feeling tired. Please help me.

Is it normal to have a neck dissection just by suspicion?
Hi doctor,
I have 4 enlarged cervical lymph nodes in my neck. Two are cystic and have calcification inside. There are also 3 small nodules on my thyroid. Two are about the size of a tiny dot and one is 0.25 inch. All blood and thyroid tests came back normal. Full body PET-CT showed no abnormal activity in thyroid or lymph nodes or anywhere else in my body. FNA biopsy of the largest lymph node came back as suspicious for metastatic papillary thyroid cancer. My ENT wants to do a selective neck dissection, removing the lymph nodes in regions 2-4, have them cold tested and remove my thyroid if positive. My question is, is it normal to have a neck dissection with only suspicion of malignancy? Or should I opt for further testing to confirm cancer before I decide to have the dissection?
