I got bitten by what I am thinking a spider a week back. I figured since it seemed to have a little white and liquid coming out. So, I squeezed it. It has been four days and the bite is painful. Now I have a white circle where it once was just red and oozing. I have tried Cortisone but I do not see it getting better.

Am I having recurrent BV because of unprotected sex?

Hello doctor,

I have recurring BV, and I do not know why. I have stopped taking baths, I do not douche, and I never use any scented products. I am in a monogamous relationship. I just realized that my fiance washes his penis with shampoo, and we have unprotected sex. I have been checked for all STDs, and that came up negative. Could this be why I cannot seem to get rid of it?
