Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am 19 years old. I have a stomach ache, dizziness, and nausea; constantly go back to the comfort room; and am not taking any medication.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have read your history and can understand your concern.
I can understand your concern.
I hope it helped with the query.
Your symptoms of abdominal pain, nausea, dizziness, frequent trips to the bathroom and vomiting could be due to a
GI infection.
Food poisoning.
Urinary tract infection.
“Another medical condition that needs to be evaluated.
PCOS can cause menstrual irregularities but usually does not cause daily vomiting, so I would not attribute your current symptoms to PCOS alone.
You have had your symptoms for 3 days and are having persistent nausea and abdominal pain. I would recommend a medical evaluation especially if the symptoms are worsening or affecting your ability to eat and drink.
For the time being please follow below instructions:
Drink small sips of water, ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) or clear fluids frequently to avoid dehydration.
If you can, eat bland foods like toast, rice, bananas or crackers.
Avoid spicy, oily or heavy food.
Rest and watch your symptoms.
If you develop any of the following, seek urgent medical attention:
Severe or worsening abdominal pain
Constant vomiting. Inability to keep fluids down.
Blood in the stool or vomit.
Severe fever.
Severe dizziness or fainting.
Reduced urine output or dehydration.
Please let me know if you have any more questions on your mind.
I would be happy to guide you.
Thank you.
