Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am having left middle abdominal discomfort leading to my left testicles. I also have a burning sensation from the middle part of the left abdomen to my testicles.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

From the description, your symptoms sound as if the pain is starting from your left kidney and radiating down to your testicles or urethral opening. Most likely it could be a small stone stuck in your ureter connecting your kidney and your urinary bladder. You will have to undergo an X-ray KUB (kidney, ureter, and bladder X-ray) and an ultrasound scan of the abdomen to find out the cause for sure. We have to know the size of the stone to see if it will be able to pass through your urethra or does it need crushing. Please do those tests and also do urine routine examination or for the time being, you can take antispasmodic like Meftal spas (Dicyclomine and Mefenamic acid) after food along with Rantac (H2 blocker) 150 mg to reduce the pain. Take plenty of oral fluids. If it is a stone and if it can be passed out, you will have to take six liters of water or fluids and collect your urine in a mug every time so that we will know if you are expelling it. Please do the tests and you can get back to me with the results. Are you a diabetic?

Take care. Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
