Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
The doctor told me to do MRI and MRA, which showed abnormal changes. Very concerned with ongoing symptoms. I have cognitive decline, fatigue, and anxiety. Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
These MRI(magnetic resonance imaging) and MRA(magnetic resonance angiography) changes are not specific or related to your symptoms. I recommend checking blood lipid profile and thyroid hormone levels, vitamin D, and vitamin B12 plasma levels. The white matter changes are not specific to any medical disorder. I recommend following up with a brain MRI after a year. In the meantime, I recommend taking daily baby aspirin. Regarding the changes in MRA, performing a contrast enhancement MRA is necessary, which is more specific for the blood flow and atherosclerotic plaques. I recommend consulting with a psychiatrist to help treat anxiety. Yoga can help in this regard.
I hope I have answered your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards.
