Patient's Query

Hello,

I was one month pregnant when my husband gave me an abortion pill. And now, it has been almost a week. I am continuously bleeding. Is it normal?

Patient's Query

Hello,

Please see the attached image of the pills that I took.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I have seen the attached image (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity).

The tablet contains Mifepristone and Misoprostol.

It is normal to bleed this way after taking Misoprostol. You may face bleeding for around seven to ten days.

If you have excessive bleeding that lasts more than 10 days, you should visit the gynecologist.

On completion of 14 days of the medication, you will be required to take an ultrasound to check if there are any remnant products of conception within.

If the condition persists or worsens, I suggest you visit the gynecologist at the earliest.

Take care.

Thank you.
