Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been in a live-in relationship for four years. I regularly use protection during sex, but unfortunately, by protection failure, it is 40 days of pregnancy. We are not ready for it and decided to abort it, so what should I do to abort the pregnancy without any problem? I do not want to risk my life, and my financial condition is also poor. So we are concerned by it, and we cannot involve family because we are currently unable to do that.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and can understand your concerns.

Abortion pills can only be taken under the supervision of a doctor because they may cause infection, severe bleeding, and retained products of conception. You can take medicine for upto seven weeks. These are prescription drugs. However, an ultrasound should be taken before taking the medicines.

Hope you found this helpful. Feel free to ask for more information.

Thanks and take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
