Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have suffered from acne for the majority of my life. I am a 23-year-old female. I am on birth control pills and Spironolactone. I have tried so many other products. I also have hyperpigmentation and boxcar scars.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

First, you need to understand that acne is an ongoing process, and you may experience frequent exacerbations due to stress or hormones. It is good to know that your hormones are normal, and in my opinion, you need not take Spironolactone then. We can only control the exacerbation with treatment and cannot change the acne-prone skin type. I suggest you keep Clindamycin gel with you, apply it twice daily on pimples, and use an oil-free face wash. Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
