Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have oily skin and acne. My face would clear up for the most part, and then I break out again. I wash my face day and night with Noxzema, and I exfoliate twice a week. The exfoliating product has 2% salicylic acid in it. My skin is always oily, and I want to know what can be done about that if anything. I have prom in less than a month and want to get my skin to look the best that it can by that time. What can I do?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. You seems to have grade two acne. I suggest you to use following medications. Take Tablet Azithromycin 500 mg for three consecutive days per week (like every tuesday, wednesday, thursdays). Use Adapalene plus benzoyl peroxide gel apply on acne once at night in tiny amount without rubbing it. Use Benzoyl peroxide face wash. Follow up after a month. Avoid too much sweets, full cream milk and chocolates. Also please do not pick the lesions. Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
