Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am suffering from acne, skin pigmentation, and lip pigmentation. Is there a remedy to lighten lip and skin pigmentation?

Kindly help.

Answered by Dr. Suvash Sahu

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I understand your concern. It seems you have dark lips and a complexion. So I suggest you to follow a few instructions mentioned below.

  1. Avoid direct sunlight.
  2. Wear a hat or scarf when you go out in the sun.
  3. Use skin lightening cream during night hours containing Kojic acid.
  4. Use broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day, and repeat every four hours.
  5. For lips, you can use a cream containing Kojic Dipalmitate, Niacinamide, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, and Octocrylene. Apply the cream twice daily.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk to them and take medications with their consent.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
