How can I stop my sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been suffering from sneezing, runny, itchy nose and eyes for the past two months.

Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Your symptoms are suggestive of acute allergic rhinitis. An anti-allergic medication like Fexofenadine can be prescribed for five to seven days. Steam inhalation done three times a day with lukewarm water is also beneficial. Do saltwater gargle with warm water three times a day. Drink lots of water. Take one teaspoon of turmeric powder with milk daily. If there is no improvement, then CBC (complete blood count) can be done for further workup.

I hope that you get your answer.

Please let me know if you want more help.

Thank you.
