Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 21 year old female. I was intimate with my partner for the first time yesterday. He rubbed his penis on my vagina without protection and came on my stomach. I have a first-degree labia tear, and I am scared that I would get pregnant. Also, I take Krimson 35 as I have PCOS, but I missed out yesterday. Since yesterday, I have had white thick mucus discharge, discomfort, and a burning sensation during urination. Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to iclinq.com.

I can understand your concern.

The tablet taken for PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), Krimson 35 (Cyproteron) is an oral contraceptive pill that is enough to prevent pregnancy with a good success rate. However, missing the pill leads to chances of pregnancy.

I suggest you follow the below mentioned instructions.

  1. Take an emergency contraceptive Levonorgestrel pill within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.
  2. Kindly note that taking this pill can affect the next one to two menstrual cycles.
  3. Kindly consult a specialist, talk to them, and take the medications with their consent.

I hope this information will help you.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

I am concerned that the chances of pregnancy are higher as my partner only thrusted over my vagina harder and ejaculated on my stomach. I had my period in the first week of last month, and it may be delayed as I have PCOS. We were intimate only on the day before yesterday. Now I have white thick mucus vaginal discharge. Does this mean that I will get my period in a few days? Kindly suggest medication to initiate the menstrual cycle.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.I can understand your concern.

The possibility of pregnancy cannot be assumed. Unsure scenarios in which you wish to prevent an unwanted pregnancy have to be taken care of on time. Any unprotected intercourse will have chances of pregnancy even if minimal. If the secretions are present near vagina, then the chances of getting pregnancy increases.

I suggest you follow the instructions as mentioned previously and there is no medication for initiating the periods immediately.

I hope this information will help you.

Thank you
