Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have a problem with acidity and anxiety as well. My heart rate becomes high when I have acidity, and I also experience chest pain. My mother also has a complaint of acidity. Previously, I used the tablet Pantop D for acidity. I am attaching my ECG reports that show poor R-wave progression V3. Could you please let me know what it means? Kindly advise.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern and would be happy to help. I have reviewed the ECG (electrocardiogram) report you shared (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). The report is within the normal range. V3 is a transition zone of the QRS complex that represents ventricular depolarization, and it depends on the cardiac axis, that is, orientation within the chest. Also, there are no signs of cardiac ischemia. Regarding acidity, I would suggest you undergo fibrogastroscopy, as acid reflux can also be the reason for chest pain.
I hope this helps.
Please revert so I can assist you further.
Thank you.
