Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Can I wear a regular colored contact lens for only one night if I have astigmatism? I have no eye symptoms at all. I wear glasses all of the time, that is all. Before five to six years, I had surgery on my right eye due to eye cysts. It is fully healed now. I want to change my look for my upcoming 18th birthday, but colored contact lenses for astigmatism are way over my budget.

Hello,

Welcome to iclinic.com.

You can wear colored contact lenses for one night; no harm in it, but you will be uncomfortable as your vision will be blurry. If you can manage with it, you can wear it for one night for your birthday. I wish you a happy 18 birthday in advance. Thank you

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
