Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am suffering from lower back pain on my right side. It is paining from below the spinal cord on the right-hand side above the buttock. I believe some muscle catch while playing badminton. I have applied Omnigel spray, Aceclound, and Rantac tablet 150 mg.

Kindly suggest good medicine for quick relief.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

At this moment, I am giving my opinion regarding your case. You have a history of sports in the mentioned description. So while playing, muscle and ligament strain might be there.

The following are suggestions:

  1. Take rest.
  2. Avoid strenuous activities for a few days.
  3. Avoid heavy weight lifting.
  4. Avoid prolonged bending.
  5. Take tablet Chlorzoxazone 250 mg twice a day for five days.
  6. To relieve pain and inflammation, Ibuprofen plus Paracetamol combination drugs can be prescribed for five days. It can be taken two times a day.
  7. Take Rabeprazole 20 mg once a day for five days to prevent gastritis.

Consult your specialist doctor, talk with them, and take medications with their consent.

Suppose no improvement, then proper physical examination and local part X-ray are needed. Consult an orthopedic surgeon for examination and get the above prescription.

I hope all this information will help you.

Take care.
