Muscle Pull

A muscle pull or a muscle strain is the damage to the muscle fibers due to excess stress or strain beyond the muscle's physiological limit. Physical work involving extensive force like sports, any accident, weight lifting, overuse of inflexible muscles, etc., can lead to muscle strain. Pain, swelling, difficulty moving, sprain, etc., are some of its symptoms. Adequate rest with ice pack massage and compression bandages, and pain killers can help in recovery.
