Hello doctor,
I have not taken any medications for this condition. I have a sore throat and a light cough but no fever. One part of the uvula (at the top) hurts and burns when I clear my throat. Thank you.

I suggest you take the following medications. Consult your specialist doctor, take with them, and take medications with their consent. 1. Tablet Cefpodoxime 200 mg twice daily after food for days 2. Tablet Aceclofenac and Paracetamol twice daily after food for three days. 3. Tablet Pantoprazole 40 mg once daily in the morning (empty stomach). 4. Tablet Deflazacort 40 mg. One tablet in the morning for four days, followed by half tablet in the morning for four days. Do salt water gargling and avoid citrus fruits. Please let me know if you need any other help. Please do not worry. It is not cancer. A cancerous lesion will be of a longer duration, like two to three months. This is just inflammation, and you will be alright with the medications. Thank you.
