Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am feeling depressed. The extreme highs and crushing lows in my life are tearing me apart. I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and I recently started taking Lybalvi as a treatment option. Can you please explain how Lybalvi works for bipolar disorder and what kind of results can I expect? Will this provide complete relief? Can I get out of these symptoms completely?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query.

You are on good medication for your bipolar. But its effect depends upon the person. It is a combination of two drugs. It helps in bipolar but you should have also added some mood stabilizers like Valproate or Lithium with it. Your medication will give you relief but still, it depends upon the severity and duration of your illness and history of substance abuse, etc. You will be completely normal if you take medications under your psychiatrist's guidance. Do not take it without a prescription. Over some time, you need to adjust doses of medications. You can live your life as normal but with some medications.

Hope it helps.

Thanks and regards.
