Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I had protected sex 17 days ago with a questionable character. I have been fine but tonight noticed what looks like a flat white cluster that is tiny inside my urethra (penis). I do not have a burning sensation when I pee or ejaculate, nor do I have any symptoms of traditional STDs. I will be getting tested this week; however, I wanted to know if this is in any way normal or, in your experience, points to an STD or other conditions.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have gone through your query and the photo you have sent (attachment removed to protect patient identity). I am unable to get a clear picture from the photo sent by you. From what I can see, it appears to be a normal urethral opening. However, it is unlikely that you have any usual bacterial STDs (sexually transmitted diseases) as they are generally symptomatic within two to three weeks. I would suggest you schedule a visit with a urologist or dermatologist who will give you a confirmation. I would urge you to get tested for viral STDs now and again after three months to confirm.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for the response.
Here is a clearer picture; I understand I could just be scaring myself but I would like a professional opinion.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
I have gone through the photo (attachments removed due to patient's concern) you sent. It appears to be nothing significant, just some ectopic glands that are common and benign. I would still suggest a follow-up with a urologist.
