Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 16 years old. I had acne on my face and took treatment for it. It got resolved. After a few months, it came back and I have lots of scars and blackheads on my face. Kindly suggest me. What can I do to get rid of acne? I have taken Fucicort, Isopearl, Acnelene, and some capsules and tablets.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

According to your history, you have taken many medications like Isotretinoin, Adapalene, Clindamycin, Fusidic acid, and Betamethasone cream. Among these creams, Betamethasone should never be applied on the face for acne. It can cause faring up of acne, thinning of skin, dryness, pigmentation, redness, and hair growth on the face. To control breakouts, try to eat well-balanced food, avoid taking milk and milk products, sugary, oily, and fried foods. Do not take any kind of stress, do not pop your pimples, or touch your face with dirty hands. Follow a skincare routine, if you have oily skin. Double cleanse your face, apply a toner and a non-comedogenic emulsion over your face. If you have menstrual irregularities, please get them checked. If your doctor prescribes you an oral medication, please follow the course, and do not leave it in between.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
