Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I and my fiance had sex for the first time two days back. We both were virgins till now. We used condoms while intercourse and also checked them for breakage but found them to be non-broken as per our knowledge about condom breakage. But my fiance is experiencing headache, feeling like urine not in control, abnormal feelings, etc. We are worried if these are signs of pregnancy or just due to first time intercourse. Please also tell about detecting condom breakage or leakage, as we could not find any visible hole in the condoms after intercourse. If anything serious, please suggest about taking I-pills as 72 hours are not yet completed.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
It is not possible to say so early if one could be pregnant from your history. If you have doubts about condom breakage, I would advise considering an emergency contraceptive pill that is I-pill. The symptoms she has could be due to urinary tract infection. So she can get a urine analysis and culture to look for infection. She can take syrup Citralka (Disodium hydrogen citrate) and plenty of fluids.
