Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 24-year-old man, my weight is 125 pounds, and my height is 5.4 feet. My doctor prescribed tablets Buspirone HCL 15 mg, tablet Citalopram hydrobromide HCL 40 mg, and tablet Cyclobenzaprine HCL 10 mg. I wanted to know if consuming all these medicines simultaneously is safe. Could I have Buspirone HCL and Citalopram hydrobromide simultaneously, or do they have to be taken hours apart? Will any of these medications react negatively with each other? I have a habit of sleepwalking. One night, I took the tablet Xanax with other medicines in my sleep and had a bad experience taking Xanax with other medications. Is tablet Buspirone as strong as Xanax? If yes, then is there any alternative medicine that I can take? Please provide me with an alternative medicine that is not as strong as Xanax.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and understand your concern. The drugs you mentioned have a similar mechanism of action, but the adverse effects cannot be predicted for all these drugs. No deciding factor will help decide which will work the best. You should follow the recommendations of your doctor. If you feel that you are experiencing some side effects after taking medicine, you can inform your doctor, and they will change your medication.

I hope this helps you out.

Thanks and regards.
