Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am a 31-year-old male, weighing 189lbs, and my height is 5 feet 11 inches. I frequently have chest pain that radiates to the left hand. I consulted a cardiologist who advised a 2D echocardiogram and ECG. The reports were normal. After that, he suggested a Pan-D (Pantoprazole and Domperidone) tablet. But I still have chest pain and worry about my health problem.
Please help me.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
Chest pain is one of the most common complaints in the ER (emergency room). Sometimes it indicates heart attacks, and other times just muscle spasms. Heart chest pain is heavy, compressing, and increases with effort. The risk factors include:
1. Obesity.
2. Diabetes.
3. Hypertension.
4. Smoking.
5. Family history.
Please send me a copy of the echocardiography and your ECG (electrocardiogram) for more interpretation.
What is the nature of your pain, and what increases or decreases it?
Thank you.
