What causes left-sided chest pain at night?
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 37-year-old male suffering from pain on the left side below my chest at night. I am unable to sleep because of this pain. However, I am active throughout the day. My cholesterol levels are normal, and I have been taking the tablet Rosufit at night for the past four months. I am not taking these medications now. Kindly help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Thank you for your query. I understand your concern.
Your symptoms do not reveal any signs of cardiac disorders. However, it could be musculoskeletal pain. Therefore, I would suggest you follow a few instructions mentioned below. Check your CBC (complete blood count), ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate), PCR (polymerase chain reaction), thyroid hormone levels, vitamin D level, ECG (electrocardiogram), and chest X-ray.
I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
