Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have very small teeth and have chipped corners in my front tooth. I am very self-conscious of my smile because of the small size and chips. People told me to get porcelain veneers or to get gum contouring done, but I recently saw something on the internet where a dentist restored someone’s front teeth by filling in the ideal tooth shape with stuff to restore half the bottom of her teeth. So I wonder if I can get this procedure done to slightly lengthen my teeth at the bottom and fill in the small chips rather than get expensive porcelain veneers. Is this possible?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Your chief complaint is related to aesthetics. To improve your aesthetics and smile, you can go for composite buildup. Contouring your teeth is cheap compared to placing porcelain veneers. You should visit a cosmetic dentist directly instead of falling prey to others to save money and do low-price procedures. The composite buildup will solve your problem. Can you send a photograph of your teeth?

I hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.
