Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I met with an accident one month ago. After a while, I still feel mild pain in my left leg and no pain in the knee. I can do all types of daily work and can climb stairs. Whenever I walk too much, I feel pain in the left calf. Also, I find difficulty using the Indian toilet because of pain in the knee and calf muscles.
Kindly help.

Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for the reply.
I was not advised of any X-rays as there was no visible injury, and I could walk and bend the leg easily after the accident. Doctors kept me under observation and found me normal.
Thank you, doctor.
Hello,
Glad to have you back!
I am here to help you get the best medical advice.
The pain can be due to chondromalacia patellae which present as weakness of knee cartilage.
I suggest you follow a few instructions mentioned below:
Practice quadriceps strengthening exercises.
Practice hamstring strengthening exercises.
Take tablet Cartigen forte once a day for three months.
I hope this has helped you.
Thank you.
