Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am a 19-year-old male, and I have too much cough. My head and legs are hurting a lot, and my body's temperature is a little high. I do not have a fever, but the temperature is slightly high. I am not taking any medicines as of now. Please help. Thanks.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern. You are likely to have acute upper respiratory tract infection. Most of the times it is viral but sometimes superadded bacterial infection. For getting relief you are advice for- 1. Warm saline gargling. 2. Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg as and when required. 3. Cough syrup having Guaifenesin and Phenylephrine. Consult with your specialist and take the prescribed medicines with their consent. I hope this information will help. Thanks.
