Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a swollen clitoris. It feels like a lump on my clitoris that has been present for the past five to six days. It occurred once last year, but it was not as swollen as it is now. It only causes pain when it comes into contact with clothes. There is rarely any vaginal discharge, but my vagina appears to be fine. I have regular periods and use sanitary pads. I had low Vitamin D3 and B12 levels in past tests for which I am not currently taking any medications. I engage in aerobics (a full-body dance workout) and yoga sometimes, which might have added to the friction on my clitoris. I am in a relationship and recently received unprotected oral stimulation on my clitoris. What might be the reason for these symptoms? What medication should I take? Please help me.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understood your concern. According to the information you provided, this could be due to an infection or local irritation. I suggest you refrain from repeatedly touching that area. Instead, use cotton breathable underwear and keep the area clean and dry. Change your undergarments twice a day. Wash your genitals with gentle cleansers. It is advisable to avoid intercourse for at least one week. Additionally, I suggest you take a tablet containing Diclofenac, Paracetamol, and Serratiopeptidase twice daily for three days. I suggest you consult a specialist, talk with them and take the medications with their consent. I hope this has helped you. Kindly follow up if you have more doubts.

Thank you.
