Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have some problems with my dental structure. The one that I feel as a major issue is that my lower jaw sits a little backwards from where it should rest. It is resulting in giving me a double chin and makes me look awkward. Kindly suggest how this can be corrected. Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I need to see a picture for finding a complete treatment plan. Some type of cases can be corrected by using braces or orthodontic treatment, but some require a surgical procedure to correct them.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your quick reply. Please check the pictures.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I saw your photos now (attachment removed to protect patient identity). Your chin is deficient and would require surgery to correct it. Kindly see an oral and maxillofacial surgeon to correct it. The only compromised treatment you could do is put braces and correct the alignment of teeth. But, your chin or mandible is deficient. So, now, at your age the growth is not possible.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your input.
