Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
My wife is feeling unwell. She has chest and body pain after recovering from the COVID-19 infection. Two years before she got dengue. Please help.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I went through your query about chest and body pain after COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019). After recovering from COVID-19 illness, body pain could be due to various reasons like general weakness or myalgia due to inflammatory markers during viral infection. And it is not a significant problem to worry. But chest pain post-COVID-19 should not be ignored unless evaluated.
During or after recovering from COVID-19 disease, the blood will be in a hypercoagulable state that leads to clot formation. Hence the person is prone to a heart attack or blood clot in any other body's vessels. Therefore we should consider her symptoms of chest pain and rule out any significant issues.
I would like to know some more details about her chest pain.
I hope this helps.
Kindly follow up if you have more doubts.
Thank you.
