Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have acne only on the right side of my face in the cheeks, chin, and neck area. I have been diagnosed with cystic acne on my chin and started using Madeca Derma centelian cream since three years. Kindly help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Acne occurs due to the following as blockage of sebum (oil-producing glands), a surge in hormonal levels at the time of puberty, due to improper skincare, and also associated with menstrual irregularities. Here are some steps you can follow to get rid of acne. Take a healthy diet. Avoid sugary, oily snacks, milk, and milk products. Clean mobile phones and change pillow covers regularly. Use non-comedogenic skincare products. Try to avoid stress through meditation. I suggest you apply Adapalene gel 0.1% (a topical retinoid) over acne at night and apply non-comedogenic sunscreen in the morning. Remove make-up before you go to bed. If you have an underlying menstrual disorder, please consult a gynecologist. Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
