Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Yes, I am sexually active.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

1. What is your age?

2. Have you done a urine pregnancy test?

3. Was any contraceptive used?

Kindly answer the above.

Thank you,

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for the response. I am 23 years old. I have done a urine pregnancy test five days back which was negative.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

1. Is this your first episode of delayed menstrual cycle?

2. Are the previous three cycles regular?

3. If this is your first episode, are there any new stress factors or recent history of exercise?

Usually, these are the causes of delay in your cycle. I would suggest you to wait for a week, for your cycles to come spontaneously and if not we will need further evaluation. I hope I have cleared all your doubts.

Thank you.

Investigations to be done

1. Thyroid profile test (t3, t4, thyroid stimulating factor) 2. Ultrasound--abdomen and pelvis. 3. Repeat urine pregnancy test after two days.

Regarding follow up

Kindly follow up with reports. Take adequate hydration and relax.
