What are the symptoms of pregnancy?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had unprotected sex last month and got my period ten days later. I am six days late now, but I feel some pregnancy symptoms. I am not sure if it is possible to be pregnant. I have also been getting a yellowish discharge, nausea, and tender breasts. My period has been late before, but I have not had the symptoms I have now. Kindly suggest.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and understand your concern. I request you to share the details of your last two periods about date and flow. If you track your ovulation, please let me know that as well. I would suggest unprotected intercourse near ovulation can result in pregnancy. Although you are saying that you had a period, I am just worried that you experienced implantation bleeding, and you are thinking it to be a period. So tell me how was the flow? If you are feeling certain pregnancy signs, then do a pregnancy test at home with the first urine of the day for accurate results. I hope this helped you.

Thank you.
