Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had diarrhea a few days ago. It went away a day later. But came back again two days ago. I went to a doctor and she gave me Gravinate, Gramex, and Panadol. On the same day that I took medicine, I experienced the presence of blood in my stool at night, accompanied by pain in that area. The pain wascontinuous and it goes away and comes back again whenever the watery blood stool comes. The stool first comes in watery form and after that, it comes in thick form with no blood. But the pain is continuous and it is getting unbearable. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. Pain in the anal canal seems to be due to some friction injuries during frequent loose motions. Loose motion with blood seems to be due to gastric infection.

Instead of your current medicine, I would suggest you start taking plenty of water, ORS (oral rehydrating solution), and effortless and light foods for three days. Take a Capsule of Pantoprazole on an empty stomach, an Econorm (Saccharomyces boulardi) sachet- one per day, table mefenamic acid twice a day, a tablet of Satrogyl-O (Satranidazole and Ofloxacin) twice a day after food. Take all of them for three days. Apply Sepgard (Centbucridine and Feracrylum) anal cream locally in the anal canal twice a day. Send me a follow-up after three days.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.

Regards.
