What is the reason for passing stool on drinking tea after laparoscopic fundoplication?

It can be because of the side effects of surgery. For one episode, it can be neglected. Or else you have to take soft foods more in the initial days to prevent side effects. Excess tea, coffee, smoking, and alcohol should be restricted for a few days. If the loose motion is more, then further workup is needed in the form of a stool routine micro examination.
