What causes increased dizziness during pregnancy?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello, doctor,

I am seven weeks pregnant and I feel too much dizziness, and it seems like my head and face getting squeezed. Is it a part of my pregnancy? Kindly suggest.

Answered by Dr. Pandian. P

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

This may be due to dehydration and acidity. I suggest you take a tablet of Pantoprazole (Calcium stearate, Crospovidone, Hypromellose, Iron oxide, Mannitol) and antacid syrup. Keep yourself hydrated well, and drink plenty of fluids and juices without ice. Consume a high fiber diet, avoid spicy foods, and avoid constipation. Consult your specialist before taking any medications.

Thank you.
