What are the ways to manage a combination skin?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am so depressed regarding my face. I have combination skin. It is dry and oily too. I am applying a petroleum jelly daily but after that, my face looks dull. No glow on face after washing with face wash. It glows but not after applying vaseline petrolium jelly.

Hi,

I am glad you chose icliniq for your medical-related queries.

I understand your concern and will try to help you with it.

I read your query and understood your concern. You have a combination skin which is a little difficult to take care of. In the morning, wash your face with Cutishine facewash (glycolic acid and salicylic acid) and follow up with a good sunscreen like Suncros or Sunban ultra XL gel (Octyl methoxycinnamate). Reapply sunscreen once more in the afternoon. In evening wash your face with Cutishine again and apply a moisturizer like Venusia Max while your skin is still damp. Just before sleeping wash moisturizer off with normal water and apply GlyAHA Koj cream all over your face. This should solve a lot of issues for you. Follow up with us after one month.

Thank you for consulting me.

You can always reach me at icliniq.com.
