Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Having throat dryness since 2 weeks and feels hair stuck in throat.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Can you please take a picture of the back of throat with open mouth and send to me?

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I have attached the file.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I checked the photo (attachment removed to protect patient identity). It appears there is some mild congestion in the anterior pillars which along with the history of cold (that you had a week before) could be the reason for the sensation in the throat. Most probably there must be some post nasal drip (remaining after the cold) and some acidity (due to reflux after eating the antibiotics) which may be causing the weird sensation of hair stuck in the throat. Please follow these measures to help yourself. 1. Tab. Raciper 40 - 1 tab before breakfast x 7 days 2. Tab. Montek-FX - 1 tab in the evening at 7 PM x 7 days 3. Syp. Mucaine / Tricaine gel, 2 tsf 20 min after every meal x 7 days 4. Avoid spicy, oily and citrus foods. Do not drink bitter curd. Can have warm and not so bitter buttermilk. 5. Drink plenty of water 6. Cap. AtoZ, 1 capsule after lunch x 7 days. There is nothing to worry and it will get better. Sometimes you may need to take the medicines for more than a week. Kindly review with me with a fresh picture of your throat after a week before you stop the medicines. Based on the condition and your symptoms then we shall titer the medicines or stop those.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
