Patient's Query

Hello,

I took Plan B once but have been sexually active using protection since then. I got my period after taking Plan B and also after subsequent protected encounters. However, I have not had my period this month and have been experiencing negative pregnancy test results. I am currently using Phentermine 37.5 mg tablets and have started exercising. I am also noticing watery discharge with a bit of white, resembling egg whites. Is this normal, and should I expect my period to arrive eventually? Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You should expect your period around the last of this month. It is normal for the period to be delayed by up to a week, considering various factors that can influence the menstrual cycle. Given that all your sexual encounters during this period were protected, the likelihood of pregnancy is low. The whitish discharge is not normal and may indicate a yeast infection. To address this, you can use antifungal vaginal pessaries (insert) and cream. You can start this treatment now and discontinue when your period begins. After your period, continue and complete the vaginal insert as prescribed.

Hope this helps you.

Thank you.

Treatment plan

1. Clotrimazole vaginal pessaries for seven days. 2. Clotrimazole vaginal cream 12 hourly for a week.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
