Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have pain in my ankles, legs, thighs, and testicles. The pain is sharp, sometimes randomly, with erectile dysfunction. I wake up, and it slowly gets worse. Last week it got worse. Yesterday it was much more noticeable and did not go away and increased throughout the day. And today, it is more than yesterday and getting worse, gets warm sometimes, and occasional sharp pains. I have cold feet, and I have had tingling and numbness for months. Constant neck pain, stemming from the middle of the back of the neck, spreads around. I have had an MRI and X-ray with no cause. The physiotherapist, chiropractor, and primary care physician all checked out. I have full motion, flexibility, and a very healthy neck. For the past three to four months, when I get out of bed, I get dizzy. I have a hard time getting out of bed, extreme concentration issues, and memory issues. Very important, when I bend my neck back and hold for 20 seconds, I get very weak and dizzy. I can see stars, and I experience a head rush. I lose my strength and have almost fallen over many times. I have started taking Adderall XR 10 mg a week ago.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can very well understand how difficult this situation must be for you. What caught my attention is that you mentioned pain in the testicles. Sometimes the severe mistake is made to attribute testicular pain to some issue with the spinal disks or other neurological problems. In rare cases, the testicles themselves can be the source of the problem. They can cause pain and another discomfort way up to the back and neck region and down the back of the legs. Therefore you should see a urologist get testicular sonography. I want to be sure that everything is fine with your testicles. Please do that as soon as possible because an effective treatment can only be started when we know the source of the issue. Get well soon.

Investigations to be done

Sonography of the testicles.

Differential diagnosis

Carcinoma of the testicle.

Treatment plan

Consult a urologist as soon as possible.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
