Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 28-year-old female weighing less than 176.37 pounds and approximately 62 inches .Since morning I have had eye swelling, pain, and headache. The right side of the face is swollen. Can you help me with this? Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern. It seems like you are suffering from preseptal cellulitis secondary to blepharitis from the history. It is inflammation of the eyelid and the associated glands. I suggest you to consult with a specialist doctor, talk to him or her and take the medicines with their consent. Warm or cold compression as that will help to resolve swelling. If you are suffering from dandruff, consult with a dermatologist. Apply an antibiotic ointment twice to thrice daily on eyelashes. Take oral anti-inflammatory drugs like tablet Ibuprofen once or twice daily for five days. In case you have any other queries, feel free to ask me. Regards.

Hi doctor,
Thanks for your response.
Can you please give the name of the antibiotic? Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
I suggest using Tobramycin ointment, or you can also use Polyfax (Polymyxin B Zinc Bacitracin) ointment thrice daily (consult your specialist doctor, talk with him or her, and take medicine with their consent). Thanks and regards.
