Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Is there any history of trauma? Did something hit you because it looks like a raccoon eye from the photographs (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). I would recommend you to do cold compression with an ice pack 2 to 3 times a day for five days. Take tablet Paracetamol plus Serratiopeptidase two times a day. Tablet Vitamin C four times a day. Apply eye ointment Ciprofloxacin over the wound. I would like to know the history because we will have to do an X-ray to see any internal injury.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thanks for replying.

This right eye is my lazy eye. The vision is very weak in this eye. I have had no injury, but I do have very dry eyes, and I have been in front of the computer editing videos and writing for an online website 10 to12 hours a day for the past month. It is a busy project that is ending this week. But in the last week, I was feeling slight irritation in the corner of the right eye, so I was rubbing it every now and then. This right eye is also watering a lot.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

As per your history, it is a case of severe blepharitis then. I will give you the medications. You will be fine in five days. Use the tablets I prescribed previously. Along with that, take the following. Tablet Augmentin 625 mg two times a day. Use eye drop Moxifloxacin plus Fluorometholone three times a day. Apply an eye ointment Chloramphenicol plus Polymyxin B with Dexamethasone at bedtime. Eye drop Carboxymethylcellulose 1% six times a day. Continue these with cold compresses, and we will see in five days how you respond. Any other queries, I will be happy to help.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
