Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I got my regular annual checkup done and the ultrasound scan shows grade II fatty infiltration of liver. I take alcohol over the weekends. What is your advice?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Having fatty liver grade II requires changing food habits and avoiding alcohol. It is usually day to day common problem. Just give a blood sample to know your liver status (LFT Liver function test), and you need to be concerned about prostatomegaly, which is mentioned in the ultrasound.

  1. Any frequent urination?
  2. Do you have disturbed sleep at night?
  3. How many times do you get up at midnight to empty your bladder?

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

You are right about the prostatomegaly for which I am in touch with a urology doctor, who has prescribed the medicine. However, I wanted to consult about fatty liver. I have uploaded the blood report.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I have viewed your blood reports, and the liver function test is normal, and there is nothing to be worried about. However, your cholesterol level is high. So take the opinion of the physician; nothing major needs to be worried about. As for the urology side, he might have added medication for your issue. If you are overweight, try to decrease your weight. Continue medications as advised by a urologist.

Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
