Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 30-year-old male. I have had foamy urine for almost one year when I urinate in a standing position. But when I sit to urinate, the foam is very low. I tested my EGFR, which is 97, and creatinine is 0.83. Is there any problem? My urine is smelly, and sometimes I feel a burning sensation after I urinate.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I am very sorry about your medical condition. Do not worry; I am here to take care of you. Regarding your symptoms, I propose you have developed acute prostatitis due to a urinary tract infection. Please take the following:

  1. Take tablet Dutasteride 0.5 mg PO QD.
  2. Take tablet Metronidazole 400 mg PO TID.
  3. Take capsule Co-Amoxiclav 625 mg PO BID.
  4. Take Ketoconazole 200 mg PO QD.
  5. If your symptoms persist, schedule another appointment for follow-up via chat, phone, or video consultation.

I hope this has helped. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
