Hi doctor,

I had an allergic reaction after eating fresh cherries last night. My eyes began itching and then swelled up. It also started tearing. I woke up this morning with mild swelling on the inner parts of my eyes. I have attached the photo for your reference. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com. You got an allergic reaction and there is no need to worry. I suggest antihistamines tablet Montek-LC, which contains Montelukast with Levocetirizine, to address any allergies or respiratory issues you may have. It's also advisable to take antacids as needed. However, before starting any new medication, consult your doctor, discuss the options with them, and take the medicine only with their consent. Furthermore, be cautious with cherries in the future, ensuring that you wash them thoroughly before consumption to avoid any potential issues.
