Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I got cut on the frenulum with redness and swelling, and a little liquid is oozing out. How to manage it?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

Usually, this cut is due to the tight foreskin and persists until you avoid retracting the foreskin. After ten days, you can apply steroidal cream like Betnovate (Chlorocresol) twice daily for six weeks. After two weeks of the cream, start gradual retraction till full retraction. After six weeks, if the above measures fail, then the best is to do circumcision.

If you have any more questions, please let me know.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Right now, I am applying Betadine ointment for healing. I will start Betnovate as you told me.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Please wait for it to heal and give it ten days. Once it is healed, then apply the Betnovate cream for six weeks.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
