Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have skin problems in my private part and the inner part of my thigh. My inner thigh has dry skin that gets peeled and becomes dark. The skin on my penis is white, which is also dry and getting peeled. I need a solution for this. I can attach the image if required. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have a fungal infection for which I would like to advise you take Capsule Itraconazole 100 mg, one in the morning and one at night after food, for 20 days. Use Ketoconazole 2% cream or lotion to be applied twice a day on the affected area. Take Tablet Bilastine 20 mg SOS (if needed) for itching. Also keep the area clean and dry. Take a bath twice daily and dry the body properly after bath. Use a separate towel and soap for yourself. Change your clothes daily. After drying the body also apply any powder generously over the area to keep it dry. Do not touch the area and touch others or any other part of your body as it can be spread by hand. Always wash your hand when you touch the area. I hope this helps. Do revert back incase of further queries. Thank you.
