Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

After eating or drinking, I am currently experiencing stomach pains (right under my chest, above the navel). The pain is there at night also and keeps me awake. This has been going on for the past three days now. I am not on any medications. I am a female, weighing 57 kg and having a height of around 157 cm.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your pain, which is present in the right side abdomen region just above the umbilical, maybe gastritis or gall stones. If pain is severe, better go for ultrasonography abdomen.

I would suggest you take -

  1. Tablet Pan D (Domperidone 30 mg and Pantoprazole 40 mg) once a day before food.
  2. Syrup Sucralflate 10 ml three times a day. If the pain is severe, take tablet Buscopan (Hyoscine butyl bromide) once daily. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with them and take medicines with their consent.
  3. Review with reports.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
