Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
When I try to smile showing my teeth, it looks awful and very unnatural. All there is is a tiny gap, but you do not really see teeth. So, I have always smiled with my mouth closed. I was wondering if you could help me figure out why my face is this way and if there are any options to help improve my smile.
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
I have gone through the image (attachment removed to protect patient identity). The teeth arrangement is natural. But, sometimes there are some factors which actually alter the smile like the habit of pushing teeth from tongue, nail biting, lip biting or sometimes soft tissue arrangement near teeth, etc. Your smile can be changed. And you can gain a beautiful smile. Just visit a dentist and ask to correct the gap between the teeth and to correct the whole smile. This treatment is mostly done by models, actors and now many people are asking for this. It is called smile designing.
I hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask further queries.
