What causes foul-smelling gas, chest pain, and premature ejaculation in diabetics?
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am 48 years old and suffering from diabetes but my sugar levels are under control after taking medicine for five years. Now I am suffering from a bad smell gas problem. Occasionally I feel chest pain. I did echo and TMT tests. The reports were quite normal. Now I am also suffering from premature ejaculation. Please suggest what can I do now.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Bad smell gas problems could be due to undigested food in the gastrointestinal tract. To combat this, I suggest avoiding eating foods like dals, potatoes, and cauliflower at dinner time. Also, space your meals properly so that there is a difference of two hours between your dinner and bedtime. It would be best if you could walk for 10 to 15 minutes post-dinner. Premature ejaculation is commonly seen in diabetes as a result of diabetic neuropathy. It may require some workup. It is better to consult your treating physician for the same. I hope I have cleared all your doubts.
Thank you.
